Safety awareness and education is an important aspect of online dating. This Safety Awareness disclosure is provided as a resource to you to as you take ownership of a safe and successful online dating experience.

Never let additional safety/background check services or add-ons, or laws and legislation allow you to fall into a false sense of security. On this and ALL online dating and relationship sites, YOU must take ownership of your actual safety.

No background check of felony or sex offense convictions is done on members who use this service. Please take appropriate safety measures to increase awareness of possible risks associated with dating.

The following general safety tips are recommended while participating in online dating:

• Report users that violate the Terms of Use to customerservice@lqqkingfor.com.
• Trust your instincts. If it doesn't seem right, it probably isn't.
• Never include your last name, e-mail address, home address, phone number, place of work, or any other identifying information in your profile or initial e-mail messages. Stop communicating with anyone who pressures you for personal or financial information.
• Spend time getting to know someone online before talking on the phone or meeting offline.
• Do your homework. Many counties and public entities provide public access to searchable databases free of charge.
• When meeting in person, always tell someone in your family or a friend where you are going and when you will return. Never agree to be picked up at your home. Always provide your own transportation to and from your date and meet in a public place with many people around.
